We’re locals and come here all the time, and it’s amazing every single visit; but our most recent experience was on a whole different level! My parents came in from NYC to celebrate their wedding anniversary, and they were absolutely blown away.
From the moment we sat down, Bob (the manager) and Aiden (our server) made the night unforgettable. The service, the attention to detail, and the sheer warmth they showed were outstanding. And the food; wow! The pasta, the steak, the bread, the drinks, everything was perfection.
Thank you, Bob, for making my parents’ anniversary celebration truly special. We are so grateful!

Found this place on OpenTable as I looking for an Italian restaurant with a nicer ambiance and was happy to find IL Venetian just across the street from the convention center. Wasn't able to make a resy so took my chance with a walk-in since I was solo and was actually sat at a nice table by the manager. Beautiful white tablecloths and fine dining touches at the table, staff is very attentive to the small details all the way down to cutlery placement and menu suggestions. They have an extensive wine menu & the food menu is very planned out with a good amount of options without being overwhelming. Nice touch of anchovies on my Ceasar salad, LOVED the puree and chili oil(?) on the charred octopus and the ravioli with sauce was DELICIOUS with so much lobster inside & lovely crab vodka sauce. A meal like this in L.A. would be so overpriced but with wine my meal onlu came to about $85. I recommend a reservation for sure. The dining room is really beautiful but they do have a very nice enclosed patio right next to the front door. Would absolutely come back here again when I'm in town.

I just got into town and decide to eat at the bar. John was the bartender, and he was fantastic. Great service and great attitude. Gave me recommendations for things to do in town and was overall very pleasant to talk to. The food itself was also very good. The gnocchi and cheesecake were chefs kiss. Happy with my experience.

FRESH! Every bite of food was a journey of tantilizing fun for the taste buds. Aiden , our server was professional, kind, and knew the menu by heart. His recommendations were spit on. He made our evening so enjoyable. Damir, the wine sommelier gave us a recommendation of a Sicilian wine that paired incredibly with our meal. He was so knowledgeable and patient and the wine he picked complemented the food beyond words. This is a Cleveland absolute must if you visit the city.

We recently celebrated our anniversary at Il Venetian, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable — warm, attentive, and truly made us feel like royalty. The food was outstanding. The restaurant itself is stunning, with an elegant atmosphere that made our night even more memorable. Il Venetian went above and beyond, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend for a special occasion or an unforgettable night out.

Visited for my significant others birthday dinner, was not disappointed! The service was prompt and affable, and made sure we had everything we needed. Lots of wine options, and the calamari appetizer was delicious. Our servers, Clancy and Jesus were attentive, knowledgeable, and very kind. The 60 South Salmon was delicious and well portioned. My partner was treated to a complementary birthday dessert. Great night, great restaurant, will definitely come back.

Had an early dinner reservation, every staff member was attentive and helpful. The octopus was everything I wanted, the sides were a good portion and delicious as well . Their signature smoked old fashion with Mezcal was exceptional. Well done!

The best Caesar salad I’ve ever had! It was incredibly fresh, perfectly crunchy, and simply delicious. The portion was big enough for two people, and the kitchen split it for us beautifully. Our waitress, Angie, was fantastic. She gave very helpful recommendations and was super efficient and attentive. Great food and great service made for a wonderful experience. I will definitely be back!

We celebrated my wife's birthday here, and honestly the place had me entering like I was arriving for a premiere! The ambiance is luxurious and dramatic but still inviting, very main character energy. I really appreciated the mocktail offering that was so delicious without being overly sugary. We shared an arugala, fig, and walnut salad along with Antipasto Il Venetian. The meats, cheeses, and picked vegetables were superbly generous and the mostarda was an amazing glossy jewel of the board. For dinner I had Spaghetti Fra Diavolo, a meal that didn't just arrive at the table; it announced itself! My wife's Lobster Ravioli was rich, lush, buttery pastas in an elegant sauce. Each bite a slow savory unfolding of pure flavor. Affogato and a chef's special dessert of popcorn flavored ice cream topped the evening. We're already excited for the next meal!

From the hostess, to the manager and to our waiter Jesus this one of the best experiences we have ever had. They are all so polite and great at what they do. Dinner started off with bread and an olive oil and spices dip. We ordered the chicken Parm, as well as the rigatoni with pork, sausage and meatballs. The sauce, Pasta and meatballs are all made in house and were so delicious. For drinks, my wife had an espresso martini, and I had the strawberry Mojito and both were spot on. For dessert, my wife got the tiramisu and I got the Panna cotta. Both desserts tasted fresh and are simply amazing. When we booked our reservation And asked if we were celebrating a special occasion to which we replied are our 19th wedding anniversary. Everyone went out of their way to Not only say happy anniversary, but to make sure our dinner was a special event. Do yourself a favor and if you’re in the Cleveland area, stop by this restaurant as you will not be disappointed. Thank you to everyone there who made our dinner so special.
